  Dr. Kates is by far the best dentist I have ever received care from. His office staff are all very friendly and professional, they offer early evening appointments for people that work a 9-5, and in my experience, I never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. He was always very upfront about treatment options, in terms of cost and other details. I always felt that he was invested in my dental health, and doing whatever was best for me as a patient. After relocating to a new area, I am unfortunately no longer a patient of Dr. Kates. Still, when I emailed his office asking for advice on a treatment plan suggested by my new dentist, he responded quickly and thoroughly addressed my concerns in a thoughtful manner, all free of charge. This, in my opinion, goes far beyond what is expected of most healthcare providers and is something that he was not required to do. If you live in Martin County, you'd be a fool not to be one of his patients. I sure wish that I still was!
